George Scott
In a remarkably short time since obtaining his training licence in 2015, George has already had multiple Group victories along with international wins, and we are delighted to have him within our training ranks for 2023.
Before setting up on his own at Eve Stables in Newmarket, George gained an excellent grounding in the industry while working under the likes of Michael Bell, Paul Nicholls and Lady Cecil. He also did a stint at Belmont Park with trainer Eddie Kenneally, cementing his knowledge of the international racing programme.
He has already produced a stallion in James Garfield, who won the Mill Reef Stakes, the Greenham Stakes and took second in the Maurice de Gheest. George had his best year yet in 2022, doubling his wins from the previous year and achieving an excellent strike rate of 18%.
