This quality colt has great power behind, good bone and plenty of scope. Trainer George Scott was equally impressed by him and we subsequently formed a new partnership which will see the colt trained at George’s Eve Stables. In a remarkably short time since obtaining his training licence in 2015, George has already had multiple victories in Group races along with international wins, and we are delighted to have him within our training ranks for 2023.

Pedigree

Our colt looks the mirror image of his dual Group 1-winning sire, TIME TEST - the Leading First Season Sire by Black Type Winners. With his lightning turn of foot he broke the Royal Ascot Tercentenary Stakes record, and is now amongst the very top producers of two-year-old Stakes winners.

This colt is out of a TEOFILO mare - the broodmare sire of both 2022 Guineas winners, a feat not achieved for 120 years! Godolphin owned TEOFILO is a son of GALILEO, was unbeaten Champion two-year-old and has produced countless top performers including Sire of Sires HAVANA GOLD and IRISHCORRESPONDENT, who earned over £8.3 million during his career!

HEADING NORTH is a winning mare herself who placed second in a Listed race at Goodwood. She is half-sister to 103-rated THIRD DIMENSION and dam to three winners of five runners. She has already had success with a son of DUBAWI in nine-time winner EFTIRAATH, and we feel that the cross with TIME TEST will prove even more fruitful.
