A Treble for Our Two-year-olds!

The winners kept coming today, landing us our first treble with HUBERT’S DREAM, TYNDRUM GOLD and DIONYSIAN.

All three colts defied their penalties and gave perfect performances, winning comfortably! We are very excited with what is shaping up to be a superb string of two year olds for next season, having achieved an incredible strike rate of 46% two-year-old AW runners to winners this year.

HUBERT'S DREAM

Today’s triple success started with HUBERT’S DREAM in the 6f Handicap Stakes at Lingfield, where he landed his second victory within the space of eight days. Winning by five lengths, he looks likely to do better still. A well-bred colt by Oasis Dream and out of a DUBAWI mare, bred by Shadwell. We secured him for 48,000 GNS at the December Yearling Sale.

HUBERTS DREAM (IRE) back down in trip and under a penalty, followed up his win here last week in even more authoritative fashion and is clearly most progressive; led, tanked along, drew clear from 2f out, impressive; has more to come and looks up to completing the hat-trick.

A totally one-sided nursery, Huberts Dream far too good for his rivals and one to follow, though South Dakota Sioux also went with some promise in second.

TYNDRUM GOLD

The second success of the day came in the form of TYNDRUM GOLD at Kempton in the 1m Novice Stakes. Purchased last year at Tattersalls Book 3 for 32,000 GNS from the National Stud, he has now brought his prize money up to £7,344 in two starts. He remains unbeaten and looks to have lots of potential.

TYNDRUM GOLD prominent.

With his closest market rival refusing to enter the stalls, the odds-on favourite was left with a simple task, the majority of the remainder destined for low-grade handicaps.

DIONYSIAN

The tension was palpable by this point, but there was no need for concern with DIONYSIAN, who made it look easy once more. Out of a GALILEO mare, bred by Hascombe & Valiant Stud, we purchased him for 30,000 GNS from Book 2 at Tattersalls. A big, powerful horse, he is the ultimate professional and another one for our owners to get excited about!

DIONYSIAN made short work of defying a penalty, dictating matters and never in any danger once he quickened on 2f out, proving too good for this level; made all, travelled fluently, quickened 2f out, pushed out; remains with potential.

A straightforward success for the odds-on favourite who made all to defy a penalty from some at best fair sorts, a couple making appeal for handicaps; the pace was modest.
