The Leading Sire of Black-Type Horses
A quality individual by leading sire Lope de Vega, out of the Listed-winning and Group 3-placed Miramis, this filly is the first foal of a talented stakes-winning mare from a deep international black-type family.
Physically, she was our pick from the Tattersalls Yearling Sales. Exceptionally strong and powerful, with an impressive hindquarter, she has all the attributes to make an immediate impact at two, while possessing the scope and athleticism to progress on as she matures.
Her sire was a high-class two-year-old himself, who went on to win both the French 2,000 Guineas and French Derby, and is now one of Europe's elite stallions and the world's leading sire of black-type horses. His roll of honour includes the likes of Almaqam, Dreamloper, Shadow of Light and Phoenix of Spain, and
She goes into training with Classic-winning Andrew Balding, who is enjoying his best season yet, leading the 2026 British Flat Trainers’ Championship with almost £9 million in prize money. We have enjoyed plenty of success together, including with Group 2 performer Scommessa Sicura and Listed winner Purosangue, and believe this filly is in the right hands to fulfil her potential.
