Purchased from the Arqana Breeze Up Sale in Deauville - the premier breeze up sale for buyers world wide. Previous stars include the Roger Varian-trained ELDAR ELDAROV and SAKHEER.
This tall, imposing colt was impossible not to like. He has a huge stride and a very easy, light action for such a large horse. In many ways he is similar to our other TEN SOVEREIGNS colt, DEVOIR’S CHOICE, and despite being by a first season sire, the way DEVOIR’S CHOICE has been performing in training gave us more than enough confidence to go for this individual. Showing plenty of class and clocking one of the quickest times in the sale, he was an easy choice for us.
This is a big, lengthy, rangy horse with lots of scope. It was remarkable that he was able to achieve the 11th fastest time out of the near-200 lots on offer. It suggests that with that natural pace and the size and scope of him, that he has a fair level of talent and will be an exciting three-year-old. - Richard Ryan

TEN SOVEREIGNS cut an impressive figure himself - unbeaten at two years old and winner of not only the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes, but also the Group 1 July Cup, with two of the fastest ever wins. He is the best son of NO NAY NEVER, who is having a fantastic campaign with another five Group-winning two-year-olds in 2022, and who is fast becoming a producer of stallions himself, with BLACKBEARD added to the rostrum this year. TEN SOVEREIGNS is already making a successful start to his own career as a first season sire, landing a win with his first runner, BRIGHTER.
Out of a GALILEO mare, this colt is superbly bred as the half-brother to Listed-winning POINT NEPEAN, who has earned £170,000 in prize money so far. The family line continues to impress, as his dam’s siblings include 114-rated Group-winner and stallion PURE CHAMPION, and VARENKA, a winning mare and proven broodmare of highly-rated progeny. Moreover, if you take a look at SEA GODDESS’ sire and damsire, you will note that she is the product of a GALILEO-DANEHILL cross, arguably the most prolific stakes-producing combination of all time, and one that is renowned for producing top broodmares.
