*Purchased from Goffs UK Doncaster Breeze Up Sale*
The sale that has produced seven Royal Ascot winners in seven years, including last year’s winners BRADSELL and PERFECT POWER.

This athletic colt exudes quality in all aspects. He has a rapid turn-of-foot and landed an excellent time in the breeze, behaving like the ultimate professional throughout. He is a lovely, balanced individual that moves very well, and has plenty of strength behind. He looks a sharp type and is one that we think will excel in the hands of Andrew Balding, who in the past five seasons has earned almost £3 million in prize money with his two-year-olds.

“The ACLAIM ex AVON BREEZE colt breezed very well. He was well-produced by the vendor, with good manners and clean limbs. He is physically very strong and mature behind the saddle, and his natural speed suggests he will want 6f as a two-year-old. However, he has the physical size and scope to progress on as a three-year-old.” - RICHARD RYAN

Pedigree

This colt’s family is speed through and through. Rated 92, his dam is no stranger to the winners enclosure, claiming 10 wins and a further 15 places during her career. She won more than £100,000 whilst racing, and is now continuing to impress as a broodmare, having already produced a two-time winner with her first foal. This is no surprise when you look at her own dam, who is half-sister to Listed winners TABARET and SAIGON, and dam to seven winners herself.

In his first crop, ACLAIM made a name for himself as the sire to the Classic-winning CACHET, who is a breeze-up graduate herself. In fact, ACLAIM has had outstanding success with breeze-up horses in a short space of time, also siring Listed-winner ROYAL ACLAIM, who went on to place in a Group 3 at Longchamp. He is by sire of sires ACCLAMATION, and much more can be expected from him (hopefully with our own colt, who is very much in his own mould!)
