BOUGHT FROM GOFFS ORBY - The sale that produced Classic-winning MOTHER EARTH and Group 1 winner LUCKY VEGA! Yearlings from this sale are eligible for the Goffs Million, “Europe’s Richest Two-Year-Old Race”, with prize money up to 10th place.
We were very selective with our choices this year and came home with only one purchase from Ireland’s top yearling sale: a superb full-brother to our very own BEVERAGINO. A masculine, imposing type with a purposeful action, this colt ticked all the right boxes for us and was at the top of our list. In fact he had also been highlighted by Tessa Hetherington, Andrew Balding’s racing manager, as one to note, and Andrew immediately took to him upon seeing him as well. It therefore made sense to send him to Kingsclere, where Andrew has an unbelievable record with 93 Group races to his name and over £18,000,000 amassed in prize money over the past five seasons.
Knowing that his full-sister has plenty of ability only championed his case further to us. Whilst she is yet to break her maiden due to a few unlucky circumstances, we know she has plenty there to recommend this colt, who looks even stronger and scopier. Despite having the same parents, the two look quite different - him a chestnut and her black - whilst only their faces show real resemblance.

Pedigree
SOLDIER’S CALL has been flying as a first season sire, currently sitting second on the leaderboard behind BLUE POINT for number of winners, and claiming one Group winner and four black-type performers already. On the track he was Champion two-year-old in France and Europe’s fastest two and three-year-old. He is by SHOWCASING, a sire of sires, so it is no surprise to see him producing quality progeny from the start.

This colt’s dam, WARM WELCOME, has produced three winners to date including DANIEL’S FLYER (five-time victor and second by a nose in a Listed race at Epsom), and CONCIERGE, seven-time winner who earned over 100k in prize money. Her own dam produced seven winners from eight runners, including JULIETTE, a listed winner with a rating of 107. His third dam is none other than Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner ALL ALONG, who was Champion Turf Filly in America and Champion Older Horse in Europe, before producing a line of Stakes winners herself.
